Civic Duty

Just a couple of weeks until civic elections take place in every city in the province. It's always a little tougher to determine who to vote for as the provincial and federal parties don't run candidates per se, they simply endorse them. It takes a little more research.

Theme Day: Under Construction

This building is one of many being torn down to make way for new buildings at the foot of 8th Street at Columbia. I was intrigued by the signage uncovered during the process. This building is, as of today, no longer standing.

This tree, and many others along this street, grow in a way that truly demonstrates the effect of power lines on their surroundings. Cool effect, though I fear the picture doesn't truly do it justice.f
